The Anarchive is a research project by Luis Berríos-Negrón who is a Puerto Rican artist exploring the perceptions, enactments and displays of environmental form. The project is meant to create a discussion about the conventional ideas around the ”green house”. It is a symbol for how we can find different paths to use and recover the resources of this planet, and how we can live in symbiosis with nature. The Anarchive could also be a way to educate and enlighten. That’s where we enter, students of Konstfack Interior and Furniture Design, Bachelor one. By assisting Luis in this project we hope to get insight and new perspectives on how you can create sustainable design. For seven weeks we approach the different stages of a design process by working both practical and theoretical, on site in Herlev and at Konstfack.
We give this installation workshop by invitation of, and in collaboration with Sergio Montero-Bravo and the bachelor students from the Konstfack Interior Architecture and Furniture Design Program in Stockholm:
